1999 Vauxhall Astra Club 8V 1.6L Petrol · VBZ 3918

The vehicle passed its most recent MOT in December 2025 with no defects recorded, indicating it is currently in a roadworthy condition. The overall trend is exceptionally stable. Over the last five years of recorded history, the car has passed every test without a single defect or advisory. This is a very clean record for a vehicle of this age. The recorded mileage of 41,393 is very low for a 27-year-old car, averaging roughly 1,533 miles per year. While this suggests the vehicle has avoided the heavy wear associated with high-mileage use, such low figures often indicate the car has spent significant periods of time standing. The main risk here is not mechanical wear from use, but rather the potential for degradation caused by under-use. Rubber components, seals, and fluids can perish or break down when a vehicle is not driven regularly. A buyer should first inspect the tyres for age-related cracking and check all rubber hoses and belts for signs of perishing. You should also verify that the oil and other essential fluids have been changed at regular intervals regardless of the low mileage.
