2012 Toyota Vellfire 2.4L Petrol · VF12 KVX

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, evidenced by clean passes across the most recent inspections. The latest MOT test conducted on 27 October 2025 at 159,589 miles showed no defects or advisories, indicating that the vehicle currently meets minimum safety and environmental standards. This consistency suggests that the owner maintains the vehicle sufficiently to address potential issues before they result in test failures. The recorded mileage of 159,589 miles over 14 years reflects an average usage of approximately 11,400 miles per annum, which aligns with typical driving patterns for an MPV of this age. The interval between the 29 October 2024 test and the October 2025 test shows an accumulation of only 10 miles, suggesting the vehicle sat largely stationary during that specific period. This low annual mileage reduces the mechanical wear on drivetrain and suspension components compared to higher-use vehicles. While the MOT history is clean, a buyer should still perform a physical inspection of high-wear areas common to high-mileage Vellfires. Focus on the suspension control arms, coil springs, and bushes for signs of fatigue or tearing, as these often degrade without MOT failure. Given the period of inactivity between the last two tests, check the brake discs for surface corrosion and ensure the calipers are not seized due to disuse. Additionally inspect the underbody and chassis for structural corrosion, particularly around the sills and where moisture tends to accumulate over time.
