2022 MG ZS Trophy EV Electric · VN71 YLJ

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted on 26 January 2026 at 31,387 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This follows a clean result from the January 2025 test, indicating that the mechanical and safety components have consistently met DVSA standards over the recorded period. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical usage for a four-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 7,850 miles per annum. Between the January 2025 test at 24,506 miles and the January 2026 test at 31,387 miles, the car covered 6,881 miles. This steady accumulation suggests regular use rather than the degradation often associated with long periods of standing, or the accelerated wear seen in high-mileage commuter vehicles. Since the MOT history shows no recurring faults regarding structural integrity, brake performance, or suspension components, a physical inspection should focus on standard consumable wear not captured by the tester. A buyer should verify the condition of the tyre treads and sidewalls for uneven wear and check the brake pads and discs. Given the electric nature of the vehicle, inspecting the cooling system levels and checking for any signs of corrosion on the undercarriage remains prudent to ensure the long-term health of the battery system.
