2020 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 2020 0.4L Petrol · VO20 EOW

The vehicle presents a clean roadworthiness profile based on the most recent assessment. The test conducted on 26 October 2024 at 878 miles resulted in a pass with zero defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable mechanical condition where all primary safety and emission components met the required DVSA standards without requiring immediate remedial action at the time of the test. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a six-year-old motorcycle, averaging approximately 146 miles per year. The recorded 878 miles in late 2024 suggests the bike has been stationary for long periods or used very sparingly. While low mileage implies minimal wear on the drivetrain, engine, and brake components, significant gaps between use can sometimes lead to the degradation of rubber components that are not reflected in the mileage figure. Given the lack of recorded mechanical faults, a physical inspection should focus on signs of age and long-term storage. Inspect the tyres for flat spotting or perished rubber on the sidewalls, as low mileage often masks heat-rot. Check the brake discs for surface corrosion or pitting and verify that the brake fluid has not absorbed moisture over the years. The buyer should also examine the chain for rust and ensure the fork seals are free of leaks, as the bike has clearly sat through several seasonal cycles with minimal use.
