2006 Aston Martin Vanquish Petrol · VS06 AML

A consistent record of roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with eight consecutive MOT tests since 2018 resulting in passes without a single recorded defect or advisory. This trend of stability is maintained through to the latest successful test on 8 May 2026, indicating that the vehicle has met all DVSA safety and emissions standards without requiring remedial work during this period. The recorded mileage of 52,390 miles is low for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 2,620 miles per year over two decades. Such a usage profile indicates the vehicle has been used sparingly or has spent significant periods stationary. Mechanically, this typically results in reduced wear on the drivetrain and suspension components, although low-use cycles can impact the longevity of rubber seals and other perishable components. As the MOT history contains no recorded failures or advisories regarding the chassis or running gear, the test drive should be used to verify the absence of mechanical noise or vibration not detectable during a standard inspection. Particular attention should be paid to the smoothness of the gear transitions and the precision of the steering, listening for any knocks or pulsations that would suggest wear in the suspension bushes or steering linkages. In the absence of flagged oil leaks or structural corrosion in the official records, a physical inspection should focus on the underbody and engine bay to confirm this status. The buyer should look for fluid seepage around the gaskets and check the brake discs for any surface corrosion or pitting, which can develop when a vehicle is not driven frequently.
