2009 Audi Q5 2.0L Petrol · VV04 OVV

This vehicle lacks any documented MOT history, rendering a formal roadworthiness assessment impossible. Without prior test records, there is no evidence of maintenance trends—whether stable, deteriorating, or improving—nor can the current condition be benchmarked against past failures or advisories. The absence of MOT data also precludes any evaluation of recurring faults, structural integrity, or compliance with UK roadworthiness standards. As a result, the vehicle’s true mechanical state remains entirely speculative until a professional inspection is conducted. Mileage data is similarly unreported, which complicates any assessment of usage patterns. A 2009 Audi Q5 should have undergone at least three MOT tests by now, assuming standard three-year intervals, yet none are recorded. This gap suggests either deliberate non-compliance, a vehicle that has never been on UK roads, or a failure to register the car under its current ownership. Without mileage figures, it’s impossible to determine whether the vehicle has been subjected to normal wear or has been stored, driven excessively, or neglected. The lack of documentation raises immediate red flags about transparency and potential hidden issues. Given the complete absence of MOT records, a buyer should prioritise a thorough pre-purchase inspection focusing on high-risk areas. The suspension—particularly coil springs, bushes, and dampers—should be examined for uneven wear or leaks, as these components degrade predictably over time and are often overlooked in undocumented vehicles. Brake systems, including calipers, pads, and discs, must be checked for uneven wear or binding, which could indicate past neglect or improper servicing. Structural corrosion, especially around wheel arches, sills, and the subframe, is another critical concern, as it can compromise safety without visible MOT advisories. Finally, the exhaust system should be inspected for leaks or excessive rust, as these are common failure points in older vehicles. Without prior MOT evidence, no assumptions about reliability can be made—only a hands-on inspection will reveal the true condition.
