2023 Fiat Ducato 35 Tecnico Maxi MJT III 2.2L Diesel · VX73 KHD

This Fiat Ducato lacks any MOT history, leaving no documented evidence of its roadworthiness or maintenance compliance since its 2023 registration. Without a single test record, there is no baseline to assess whether the vehicle has undergone regular servicing or if critical components like brakes, suspension, or exhaust emissions have been properly maintained. The absence of even a single MOT pass or fail means the vehicle’s structural integrity, tyre condition, or binding calipers—common failure points in this model—cannot be verified. Buyers should treat this as a high-risk purchase, as the lack of records suggests either deliberate concealment or neglectful ownership. Mileage data is entirely absent, making it impossible to determine whether the vehicle has been driven sparingly or excessively. A 2023 model should have undergone at least one MOT by now, particularly given the Ducato’s commercial use and higher wear rates. The gap in records raises immediate concerns: has the vehicle been parked indefinitely, or has it been driven without proper checks? Without mileage figures, there’s no way to gauge whether suspension bushes, coil springs, or brake discs have degraded beyond safe limits. Even if the vehicle has low mileage, the lack of MOTs implies a failure to meet legal obligations, which could indicate broader issues with documentation or upkeep. Given the complete absence of MOT data, an in-person inspection must prioritise critical areas that frequently fail in this model. Focus on the brake system—check for uneven wear on discs and pads, binding calipers, or excessive corrosion, as these are common fail points. The suspension should be examined for worn or leaking bushes, sagging coil springs, or excessive play in the steering rack. Tyres must be inspected for uneven tread wear or deep cuts, as failing twice on tread suggests basic upkeep was skipped. Finally, assess the underbody for corrosion, particularly around the sills and wheel arches, as commercial vehicles are prone to salt damage. The exhaust system should be checked for leaks or excessive rust, as emissions failures are a recurring issue in this class of vehicle. Without prior MOT records, these areas carry elevated risk.
