2000 Ferrari 360 Modena 3.6L Petrol · W113 OBX

This Ferrari 360 Modena has maintained a consistent MOT pass record with no defects recorded across the last four tests, most recently on 12 August 2025 at 78,208 miles. The absence of advisories or failures suggests the vehicle has undergone regular servicing and has not exhibited any recurring mechanical issues during statutory inspections. However, the most recent test occurred just over a year ago, which is within the acceptable window for a vehicle of this age and mileage, though a pre-purchase inspection remains essential to confirm the current condition of high-value components. The recorded mileage of 78,208 miles over 26 years—approximately 3,008 miles annually—indicates unusually light usage for a vehicle of this vintage. The incremental mileage increases between tests (e.g., 608 miles between the 2024 and 2025 tests) suggest the car has been stored or driven sparingly rather than subjected to heavy or irregular use. There are no gaps in MOT history, and the steady progression implies consistent, albeit low, activity. This pattern could imply either careful preservation or prolonged periods of inactivity, which may have affected certain components like suspension bushes, seals, or fluid levels. Given the lack of MOT-reported faults, a buyer should prioritise an independent inspection of critical areas prone to degradation in a vehicle of this age. Focus on the suspension system—particularly the condition of coil springs, bushes, and dampers—for signs of dry rot or excessive wear, as prolonged storage can accelerate deterioration. The braking system, including calipers, pads, and discs, should be checked for binding or uneven wear, especially if the car has been stationary for extended periods. Additionally, inspect the engine bay for fluid leaks, particularly around the oil and coolant systems, and examine the exhaust for corrosion or cracks, as these are common failure points in high-performance vehicles. The interior should be assessed for water ingress or electrical faults, as these are often overlooked in low-mileage cars but can indicate structural or environmental exposure issues.
