2000 Aprilia Habana 0.0L Petrol · W137 CWR

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status, evidenced by consistent clean passes across its recorded history. The most recent test conducted on 20 April 2024 at 11,965 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This ongoing trend suggests that the motorcycle has been maintained to a standard that meets minimum safety requirements without mechanical or structural failures appearing during the annual testing periods. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a twenty-six-year-old machine, averaging approximately 460 miles per year. Data shows a very slow progression from 11,663 miles in August 2019 to 11,965 miles in April 2024. There is a notable gap in testing between September 2020 and April 2022, during which the vehicle covered only 109 miles. This low usage indicates long storage or infrequent operation, which typically limits mechanical wear on drivetrain components, suspension bushes, and brake assemblies. Despite the clean MOT history, a buyer must inspect the vehicle for issues associated with long periods of standing. The inspection should focus on rubber degradation, specifically cracking in tyres, perished hoses, and degraded seals, which occur regardless of mileage. The buyer should also check for corrosion on the brake discs and pitting on the forks, as low use often leads to oxidation on surfaces that would otherwise remain clean. Testing the structural integrity of the frame is essential to ensure that age-related rust has not developed in areas the MOT tester might have missed.
