2012 Honda Stepwagon 2.0L Petrol · WD12 PVK

The vehicle’s most recent MOT on 2025-07-10 at 68,210 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded, indicating a stable maintenance trend. However, the prior failure on 2025-03-21 at 68,203 miles—just seven miles earlier—suggests potential inconsistency in testing or minor issues unresolved. Subsequent passes in 2024 and 2023 at the same mileage (68,203 miles) imply the car may have been stationary or driven minimally during this period, raising questions about its operational history. The recorded mileage of 68,210 miles for a 14-year-old vehicle equates to approximately 4,872 miles annually, significantly lower than average. This pattern contrasts sharply with the 2022 test at 106,389 miles, which suggests a sudden reduction in usage or possible odometer manipulation. The lack of defects in recent tests does not necessarily confirm mechanical soundness, as low mileage can mask wear in components like suspension bushes, brake discs, or corrosion in underbody panels. A buyer should inspect for signs of prolonged inactivity, such as hardened rubber components, battery degradation, or fluid contamination. The abrupt mileage drop from 106,389 to 68,203 miles warrants scrutiny for potential tampering. While no structural or safety-critical issues were flagged in MOT records, the vehicle’s low usage history may necessitate a thorough check of the exhaust system, steering linkage, and wheel bearings to confirm they remain functional after extended periods of inactivity.
