2007 Vauxhall Astra 1.8L Petrol · WG07 ACJ

This vehicle is currently roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT on 4 July 2025 at 108,244 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. While the car failed a test on 28 June 2025, the record shows no specific defects for that failure, suggesting a clerical error or a minor issue resolved immediately. The mileage is notably low for a nineteen year old vehicle, averaging roughly 5,697 miles per year. The distance covered between June 2022 at 88,821 miles and June 2024 at 100,860 miles shows a consistent usage pattern of approximately 6,000 miles annually. A more recent increase is evident between June 2024 and July 2025, where the odometer rose by 7,384 miles. The absence of any advisories or failures across five years of testing is unusual for a vehicle of this age. No recurring issues with suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions appear in the data. The lack of flagged corrosion is positive, though the clean record does not guarantee the absence of structural rust in areas the tester may have overlooked. A buyer should focus on components that degrade regardless of mileage. Check for perished rubber seals, aged tyre sidewalls, and the condition of the coolant and oil. Because the car has seen relatively light use, verify that the brakes have not seized and that the battery remains healthy. Physical inspection of the underbody for surface rust is recommended to complement the clean MOT history.
