2013 BMW 3 Series 2.0L Diesel · WH63 LYR

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a consistently stable maintenance history. The most recent MOT test conducted in November 2025 at 28,361 miles resulted in no defects recorded, continuing a streak of clean passes over the last five years. This trend suggests that the vehicle has been maintained to a standard that avoids the common mechanical failures or structural degradations that typically trigger advisories. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a 13-year-old BMW, averaging approximately 2,182 miles per year. Between October 2021 and November 2025, the car covered only 2,376 miles, indicating a pattern of very short-distance trips or that the vehicle sat stationary for extended periods. While this low mileage reduces mechanical wear on the drivetrain and engine components, the infrequent use can sometimes lead to age-related degradation of rubber-based parts and fluid chemistry that is not captured by a standard MOT test. Given the clean record, a prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on components sensitive to age and low-mileage storage. Inspect the suspension bushes, coil springs, and tyres for cracking or dry rot, as rubber elements perish over time regardless of distance driven. Check the brake system for seized calipers or corroded discs, which often occur when a vehicle is infrequently. Additionally, verify the underbody for any structural corrosion to ensure that the low usage has not masked environmental damage to the chassis.
