2010 Volkswagen Touran 1.9L Diesel · WL10 EOA

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a clear improving trend over the last four years. The most recent inspection conducted in June 2025 at 97,379 miles passed with no recorded defects or advisories. This follows three years of clean passes from 2022, 2023, and 2024, indicating that the current owner has proactively addressed previous mechanical concerns and maintained the vehicle effectively. At sixteen years old, the recorded mileage of 97,379 miles averages to approximately 6,086 miles per year, which is consistent with low-intensity usage for a family vehicle. The data shows consistent usage patterns, with roughly 5,600 miles covered between the 2024 and 2025 tests, and another 3,800 miles between 2023 and 2024. This regularity suggests the vehicle has not suffered from long periods of stationary storage which often leads to the degradation of rubber seals and fluid components. The 2021 test at 80,862 miles highlights a period of neglect regarding consumables and minor hardware. The tester flagged four tyres for uneven wear and perishing, alongside pitted rear brake discs and cracked registration plates. The edge wear on the tyres suggests a potential alignment issue at that time. Since these issues did not reappear in the subsequent four tests, the buyer should verify that the suspension geometry was checked and the alignment was properly corrected to prevent recurring wear. An in-person inspection should focus on the suspension bushings and coil springs, as these are prone to age-related fatigue despite the low mileage. Given the age of the Touran, a close check for structural corrosion on the sills and exhaust mounting points is necessary, although the MOT record currently remains clean. The mechanical history suggests a vehicle that has been well-maintained in its current phase.
