2016 Ford Kuga 2.0L Diesel · WP16 ADV

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a stable maintenance trend over the last several years. The most recent MOT test conducted in December 2025 at 54,314 miles resulted in no defects recorded, continuing a streak of clean passes dating back to 2021. This consistency suggests that the vehicle has been well-maintained and that mechanical components are functioning within immediate failure parameters according to regulatory standards. The mileage profile is notably low for a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 5,400 miles per annum. Data shows consistent usage patterns, with intervals of roughly 3,500 to 4,000 miles recorded between each annual test from 2019 through 2025. This low-frequency use typically implies less strain on the drivetrain and engine components, though long periods between tests can sometimes lead to the drying out of rubber seals or the degradation of fluid properties if the car sat stationary for extended durations. The only significant mechanical flags in the history occurred in December 2020 at 33,840 miles, where the tester identified nearside and offside front tyres worn close to the legal limit along with thin rear brake pads. These are standard consumable wear items that subsequent tests show were addressed, as no defects followed. A buyer should still physically inspect the current state of the brake discs for corrosion and the age of the tyres, as low mileage does not prevent age-related rubber hardening or tread loss. Given the lack of structural advisories in the record, the chassis appears sound and free from significant rust.
