2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA 2.1L Diesel · WR16 AAO

The vehicle’s most recent MOT on 2026-03-09 at 67,047 miles showed no defects, confirming a stable maintenance trend over the past three years. All prior tests from 2023 to 2025 also passed without issues, indicating consistent upkeep. No recurring mechanical or structural faults were recorded, suggesting the owner prioritized regular servicing. The absence of advisories or critical failures in the latest test supports the conclusion that the car remains roadworthy under current conditions. Mileage progression aligns with typical usage for a 10-year-old vehicle, averaging 6,705 miles annually. The 2023-05-02 test recorded a failure, but no defects were listed, which may reflect a data entry error or non-critical issue resolved before retesting. Subsequent annual tests show steady mileage increases, with no abrupt spikes or extended periods of inactivity. The consistent spacing of MOTs and clean defect history imply the vehicle has been driven regularly and maintained to standard. A buyer should verify the condition of suspension components, such as bushes and coil springs, given the age, and check for brake disc wear or caliper binding, which can develop over time. Structural corrosion is unlikely based on the absence of rust-related advisories, but a physical inspection of the underbody is recommended. The lack of recorded issues suggests the car has been well-cared for, but independent verification of the MOT’s accuracy and a pre-purchase check of key systems would provide further assurance.
