2017 Ford Fiesta 1.0L Petrol · WU67 VRX

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile based on the most recent testing data. The latest MOT conducted on 13 August 2025 at 37,221 miles resulted in a clean pass, indicating that the car currently meets all minimum safety standards. This follows a period of consistent passes, suggesting that the previous owners have maintained the vehicle to a standard that avoids immediate mechanical or structural failure during annual inspections. The mileage pattern is notably low for a nine-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 4,136 miles per year. Between August 2022 at 21,796 miles and August 2024 at 33,137 miles, the car covered 11,341 miles, showing consistent use. The most recent interval saw only 4,084 miles covered since the 2024 test. This low usage typically reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine components, though it can occasionally lead to accelerated degradation of rubber-based parts or corrosion if the vehicle sits stationary for long periods. The single failure recorded on 12 August 2023 at 28,372 miles is the only anomaly in an otherwise clean history. Because the specific defect for that failure was not detailed in the provided summary, a buyer must verify if the repair was a simple consumable replacement. A physical inspection should focus on checking for signs of brake pitting or rust on the discs, which are common in low-mileage cars that are not driven frequently. Examining the suspension bushes for cracking is also advisable to ensure that the low mileage has not masked age-related perishability of rubber components.
