2015 Land Rover Discovery 3.0L Diesel · WV65 ACX

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status based on the most recent MOT test on 30 October 2025, where it passed at 105,329 miles with no recorded defects. While a failure occurred just seventeen days prior at 105,325 miles, the lack of recorded defects on that specific entry suggests a technical anomaly, perhaps an administrative error or a minor sensor issue rather than a systemic mechanical failure. Since October 2022, the vehicle has maintained a clean record without advisories. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical usage for a Land Rover of this age, averaging approximately 9,575 miles per year. Between October 2022 at 84,082 miles and October 2025 at 105,329 miles, the vehicle covered 21,247 miles, indicating a steady usage profile rather than long periods of stationary neglect or heavy commercial commuting. The gap between the 2024 and 2025 tests shows an interval of 8,417 miles, which aligns perfectly with the established annual mileage rate. Despite the clean MOT history, a buyer must focus their physical inspection on high-wear components common to the Discovery model. At over 105,000 miles, the air suspension system should be checked for leaks or sagging, as these components are not always flagged by MOT testers until they fail operationally. Also inspect the chassis for structural corrosion and examine the brake discs and calipers for signs of thinning or seizing, as the MOT record only identifies immediate failures rather than gradual wear of consumables.
