2015 Skoda Superb 2.0L Diesel · WV65 OEM

The 2015 Skoda Superb presents a stable and clean roadworthiness profile. The most recent test on 12 August 2025 at 6,547 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of annual passes since at least July 2021. The maintenance trend shows no deterioration and no advisories across the full five-year record. Recorded mileage sits at 6,547 miles against an eleven-year age, equating to roughly 595 miles per year. The tester logged 5,780 miles on 30 July 2021, rising to 6,097 by 24 August 2022, 6,390 by 22 August 2023, 6,514 by 29 July 2024, and 6,547 by August 2025. The annual increments never exceed 317 miles. Such low, consistent accumulation points to a vehicle kept in light use or stored for long periods rather than driven on a daily cycle. A clean MOT sheet with zero advisories does not exempt the buyer from physical inspection. Standing time at low mileage accelerates perishable degradation: tyres suffer sidewall cracking and flat-spotting, brake discs corrode, and suspension bushes stiffen. The Superb's age also invites underbody corrosion even without a test failure. Prior to purchase, a technician should raise the car and check subframe and sill structural integrity for rust, confirm brake calipers are not seizing after dormancy, and verify coolant and brake fluid condition. The documented history implies a careful, infrequent-use owner, but the absence of recorded faults reflects test-day condition, not component lifespan under continued service.
