2000 Aprilia RSV 1.0L Petrol · X236 CBT

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status with a consistent clean pass record across its recent history. The most recent test conducted on 8 June 2025 at 19,061 miles resulted with no defects or advisories recorded. This continuity suggests that the motorcycle has been maintained to a high standard and has not suffered significant mechanical or structural failures during the last three inspection cycles. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a vehicle of 26 years age, averaging approximately 733 miles per year. Between the August 2022 test at 18,508 miles and the June 2025 test at 19,061 miles, the bike covered only 553 miles over nearly three years. The 45-mile gap between March 2024 and June 2025 indicates intermittent use. While this limits wear on the drivetrain and engine components, long standing periods often lead to degradation of rubber elements and fluid chemistry. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components that perish through age rather than distance. Given the low mileage, the fork seals, tyres, fuel lines, and brake hoses must be checked for cracking or perishability. The suspension system and swingarm pivots require scrutiny for seized bearings or dry rot resulting from lack of movement. Additionally, inspecting the frame for signs of corrosion or previous repairs is essential, as the MOT record does not account for structural integrity between test dates.
