2019 MINI Cooper 1.5L Petrol · XO51 FEE

The vehicle presents an exceptionally stable maintenance record, having passed four consecutive annual MOT tests without a single recorded defect or advisory. The most recent inspection on 15 January 2026 at 43,096 miles confirms the car remains in a clean state of roadworthiness. This consistent performance indicates a high standard of preventative maintenance and suggests the vehicle has not suffered from the common mechanical neglect often seen in used hatches of this age. The recorded mileage of 43,096 miles over a seven-year period aligns with a typical usage pattern of approximately 6,157 miles per annum. The progression of mileage between tests is linear and predictable, with an average of roughly 4,500 to 6,500 miles accumulated annually since 2023. This steady usage profile is preferable to vehicles that have sat dormant for extended periods, as it suggests the engine, seals, and drivetrain components have been regularly cycled rather than subjected to the risks associated with long-term storage. Prospective buyers should note that the absence of MOT advisories does not preclude the presence of wear on hidden consumables. While the testing history is exemplary, you must personally inspect the condition of the brake discs and pads, as these components often reach the end of their service life between 40,000 and 50,000 miles. Check the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of fatigue or perished rubber, as these items are frequently overlooked during standard annual inspections. Given the age of the vehicle, verify the service history for evidence of fluid changes, specifically relating to the transmission and brake system, to ensure the car remains as reliable as the MOT record implies.
