2001 Kawasaki W650 0.7L Petrol · Y132 AUT

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status as evidenced by four consecutive annual passes without defects. The most recent test conducted on 14 June 2025 resulted in no recorded failures, continuing a trend of clean results back through 2024, 2023, and 2022. This suggests the motorcycle has consistently met the minimum safety standards during these inspection periods. The recorded mileage of 66,046 miles over a 25-year lifespan represents an average annual usage of approximately 2,642 miles. This low rate of mileage accumulation indicates the vehicle has seen limited road time relative to typical usage, though low mileage can sometimes mask the degradation of rubber components and fluids that occurs during stationary periods. The consistent intervals between the MOT tests suggest a regular annual inspection schedule over the last four years. Since the MOT history shows no recurring mechanical failures, a buyer should focus on physical components susceptible to age-related decay and corrosion. Direct inspection is required for the condition of fork seals, brake lines, and fuel hoses, which can perish over time regardless of low mileage. The structural integrity of the frame should be checked for corrosion, and the suspension system should be examined for leaks or seized components that do not necessarily trigger a standard MOT failure. Buying Score: 78 Risk Level: Low.
