2022 BMW 118 1.5L Petrol · Y24 RAA

The BMW 118 passed its most recent MOT on 2 October 2025 at 11,912 miles with no defects recorded, establishing a stable and clean maintenance trend for a vehicle of this age. The single official test entry shows no advisories, failures, or recurring faults across the recorded history. Recorded mileage stands at 11,912 miles against an approximate four-year age, equating to roughly 2,978 miles per year. This low annual accumulation suggests light use or extended standing periods rather than high-load driving. The DVSA record contains only the one test at the stated mileage, so no rapid accumulation or notable gaps between entries can be assessed beyond the absence of earlier failures. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection despite the clean sheet. Low mileage combined with possible long standing invites perished rubber components, flat-spotted tyres, and seized brake calipers that a single pass at 11,912 miles will not expose. The tester logged no corrosion, suspension wear, or exhaust issues, yet four years of weather exposure can hide structural degradation beneath sills and subframes. Verify service history matches the low mileage claim and confirm fluid intervals were kept. The MOT offers no evidence of neglect, but sparse records leave previous owner care patterns unproven.
