2022 Volvo XC60 + B4 Mhev AWD Auto 2.0L Electric diesel · Y2 FEN

A consistent record of clean roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with the two most recent MOT inspections on 27 March 2025 and 06 March 2026 returning no recorded defects. This absence of failures or advisories across the documented testing period indicates that the components subject to statutory inspection have remained within acceptable tolerances during these specific assessments. The vehicle has covered 44,099 miles over its approximately four-year lifespan, representing an average annual accumulation of roughly 11,025 miles. This usage pattern is consistent with typical UK driving profiles for a premium SUV of this age. Mechanically, this level of mileage suggests that while the vehicle has seen regular use, it has not been subjected to the accelerated wear associated with high-intensity commercial or long-distance motorway-only applications, nor has it experienced the potential stagnation issues linked to significantly lower annual mileage. Given the lack of recorded advisories regarding suspension bushes, coil springs, or braking components, a test drive should focus on verifying the current state of these items through tactile feedback. Listen for any dull knocks or clunks when traversing uneven surfaces or speed bumps, which could indicate wear in the suspension linkages or mounting points not yet flagged in a formal inspection. Monitor the brake pedal for any unusual vibration or judder under deceleration, and ensure the steering remains centered without pulling to one side, which would help confirm the integrity of the steering rack and wheel alignment. The absence of reported oil misting or fluid leaks in the MOT history means the engine bay and underbody should be inspected for any signs of weeping around gaskets or seals. Pay close attention to the smoothness of the mild hybrid powertrain's engagement and any unusual vibrations through the chassis during transitions between electric and internal combustion modes. While the official records show no structural corrosion or exhaust system degradation, a visual check of the subframe and exhaust mounting points is advisable to ensure no localized issues have developed since the last test on 06 March 2026.
