2015 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · YB15 EGC

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test on 19 September 2025 at 47,045 miles passed with no recorded defects, following an initial failure that day for an ineffective windscreen wiper. This indicates that the owner is proactive in addressing minor equipment failures to maintain compliance. The lack of any mechanical or structural failures over the last four years suggests a well-preserved example. At 11 years old, the recorded mileage of 47,045 miles is significantly low, averaging approximately 4,277 miles per year. The data shows a steady usage pattern, with 2,595 miles covered between the May 2022 and 2023 tests, and another 5,300 miles recorded between May 2023 and September 2024. While the low mileage generally reduces the wear on the drivetrain and engine components, the long intervals between tests can sometimes lead to the degradation of rubber-based parts or corrosion on brake discs if the vehicle has sat stationary for extended periods. A physical inspection should focus on the areas susceptible to low-mileage issues. The recurring faults regarding windscreen wiper blades in 2024 and 2025 suggest that rubber components may perish due to age rather than wear. A buyer should check for surface pitting on the brake discs and inspect the tyres for sidew cracking despite potentially deep tread depth. Since the record shows no structural rust or suspension advisories, a visual check of the chassis for unexpected corrosion remains advisable to ensure that the low usage has not masked environmental damage.
