2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2.1L Diesel · YB20 SVF

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness evidenced by a consistent history of clean MOT passes. The most recent inspection on 27 May 2026 at 84,832 miles resulted in no defects, maintaining a stable maintenance trend. This streak of zero advisories suggests that the previous owners have been proactive with upkeep, as no mechanical or structural failures were flagged over the last four years. The mileage pattern reflects consistent and heavy usage, averaging approximately 14,000 miles per annum. Between the July 2023 test at 42,242 miles and the July 2025 test at 73,060 miles, the vehicle covered over 30,000 miles in two years. This high rate of accumulation is typical for a commercial vehicle of this age but places significant stress on the drivetrain and suspension. The lack of long periods of standing indicates the vehicle has been in regular operation, which helps prevent issues related with seized components. While the MOT record is clear of recorded faults, a buyer should focus on components prone to high-mileage wear and tear. A physical inspection should specifically scrutinise the front suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of premature fatigue due to the heavy usage profile. Given the mileage, the brake discs and calipers should be checked for thinning or uneven wear, as the MOT only tests for functional efficiency rather than remaining component life. Checking the chassis for early-stage corrosion remains vital to ensure the high-mileage history has not compromised the structural integrity of the frame.
