2022 Volkswagen Transporter T32 Sprt LN TDI SA 2.0L Diesel · YF22 AAY

The latest MOT test conducted on 14 July 2026 resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a similarly clean result from the previous year, indicating a highly stable maintenance trend. The absence of any recorded failures suggests the vehicle has been well-maintained and currently adheres to all DVSA roadworthiness standards without any immediate mechanical concerns. With a recorded mileage of 25,150 miles over approximately four years, the vehicle has averaged roughly 6,288 miles per year. This is relatively low for a commercial vehicle, which typically suggests reduced wear on the engine, gearbox, and drivetrain components. However, lower annual mileage can sometimes indicate a pattern of short-distance journeys or periods of inactivity, both of which require specific attention during a physical inspection. Given the clean MOT history, the prospective buyer should focus on age-related wear and the effects of potential standing. A close inspection of the tyre sidewalls is necessary to check for perishing or cracking, as rubber degrades over time even if the tread remains deep. The brake discs should be examined for heavy surface corrosion or signs of binding calipers, which can occur if the vehicle has spent extended periods stationary. Additionally, the health of the 12V battery should be tested to ensure it has not suffered from capacity loss due to infrequent use. It is critical to verify the service record to ensure that maintenance has been carried out according to calendar-based intervals rather than relying solely on mileage. Engine oil and other essential fluids degrade over time, and a lack of timely changes can lead to internal sludge buildup. The buyer should check for service book stamps that align with the manufacturer's recommended schedule. Finally, a physical check of the underbody for surface corrosion and a test drive to confirm the absence of suspension clunks or steering irregularities will complete a comprehensive evaluation.
