2013 Lexus RX 450H F Sport CVT 3.5L Hybrid electric (clean) · YJ13 XPS

The vehicle maintains a high standard of roadworthiness, evidenced by a consistently clean MOT history. The most recent test on 23 February 2026 at 182,088 miles passed with no defects or advisories, continuing a trend of perfect results spanning the last five years. This suggests a stable maintenance regime where the previous owners have proactively addressed mechanical and safety-related issues before they could result in an official test failure. The mileage pattern indicates consistent, heavy usage, averaging approximately 14,000 miles per annum. Between February 2022 at 124,264 miles and February 2026 at 182,088 miles, the vehicle covered 57,824 miles. While this total mileage is high for a 13-year-old Lexus, the regularity of the use often prevents the component degradation associated with long periods of sitting. However, the continuous operation places significant cumulative stress on the hybrid drivetrain, CVT transmission, and suspension assembly. Despite the clean MOT history, a buyer must perform a physical inspection of components prone to high-mileage wear. Particular attention should be paid to the front suspension wishbones, coil springs, and rubber bushings, as these often show signs of tearing or play after 180,000 miles. The braking system should also be checked for caliper binding or thin discs, as the MOT only tests for functional efficiency rather than overall component health. Given the age and mileage, inspecting the chassis for structural corrosion on the subframe is essential to ensure the structural integrity remains sound despite the lack of recorded advisories.
