2018 Audi A3 1.5L Petrol · YJ67 ADD

The 2018 Audi A3 with 116,235 miles demonstrates stable roadworthiness, as confirmed by its most recent MOT on 2026-02-05, which recorded no defects. All five consecutive MOT tests, spanning from 2022-02-09 to 2026-02-05, show consistent pass results with no recorded issues. This pattern suggests the vehicle has been maintained to a reliable standard, with no emerging mechanical or structural concerns over the past four years. The absence of advisories or failures indicates the previous owner prioritized basic upkeep, though the high mileage raises questions about long-term component wear. The vehicle’s mileage of 116,235 miles at 8 years old equates to an average of 14,529 miles annually, exceeding typical usage for its age. Notable jumps in mileage occurred between 2022-02-09 (57,846 miles) and 2023-02-02 (77,616 miles), followed by a rapid increase to 89,438 miles by 2024-02-09. These intervals suggest consistent, heavy usage, which may accelerate wear on consumables like tyres and brakes. However, the MOT history lacks evidence of such issues, implying either meticulous maintenance or limited exposure to extreme conditions. The clean record over five tests is unusual for this mileage, warranting closer scrutiny of non-MOT elements. A buyer should prioritise inspecting suspension components, particularly suspension bushes and coil springs, which can degrade under high-mileage stress. Brake systems, including discs and calipers, should be checked for uneven wear or corrosion, as these are common in vehicles with frequent use. Structural integrity remains unverified by the MOT data, so a professional inspection for rust or panel damage is advisable. While the records show no red flags, the vehicle’s usage profile necessitates a thorough mechanical check to confirm its continued reliability.
