2012 BMW X3 3.0L Diesel · YK62 WCM

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness based on a remarkably clean MOT history. The most recent test conducted on June 22, 2023 at 114,318 miles passed with zero defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the previous owners consistently maintained the vehicle to a standard that avoided the common mechanical and structural failures typically seen in German SUVs of this age and mileage. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical annual usage for a vehicle of this era, averaging approximately 8,166 miles per year. Between May 2019 at 68,885 miles and June 2023 at 114,318 miles, the vehicle covered 45,433 miles, showing a steady progression of roughly 11,000 miles annually. This regularity suggests the car has not suffered from long periods of stagnation which often leads to perished seals and corrosion, nor has it been subjected to the stress of high-mileage drivetrain wear. While the record shows no past advisories, a physical inspection should focus on components prone to age-related degradation rather than mileage-wear. A buyer should verify the condition of the front suspension bushings and coil springs, as these often show wear on X3 models before failing an MOT test. Given the vehicle's age, checking for early-stage corrosion on the subframe and exhaust system is also necessary to ensure the structural integrity remains as sound as the digital record suggests.
