The vehicle lacks a current MOT certificate, as the last recorded test took place on 8 November 2021. While that test resulted in a pass with no defects recorded at 6,763 miles, the vehicle has been without a valid roadworthiness certification for nearly five years. There is no recent data to establish a current maintenance trend or confirm the vehicle remains in a roadworthy state. The mileage is exceptionally low for an 11 year old vehicle, averaging roughly 615 miles per year. The record shows the odometer remained at 6,763 miles during the November 2021 test. This suggests the vehicle has spent significant periods standing still, which often introduces mechanical risks that differ from those caused by high-mileage wear. A buyer must prioritise a physical inspection of components prone to degradation during long-term storage. The lack of use often leads to perished tyres, seized brake calipers, and degraded rubber suspension bushes. Check for signs of corrosion on the chassis and structural mounting points, as standing vehicles can develop rust in stagnant areas. Verify the condition of the battery and all fluid levels, as oil and coolant can degrade or settle over several years of inactivity. The engine should be checked for signs of gasket leaks or fuel system blockage caused by stale petrol. Given the five year gap since the last official inspection, a full mechanical overhaul is likely required before the vehicle is safe for road use.
