2011 Nissan Serena 2.0L Petrol · YO11 PHA

The most recent MOT on 2026-04-16 confirmed the 2011 Nissan Serena passed with no defects recorded at 116,495 miles. This aligns with the vehicle’s age and mileage, which averages roughly 7,766 miles per year—within the typical range for a 15-year-old vehicle. No safety-critical issues were flagged in this or the prior two MOTs, all of which were passed without defects. The MOT history shows consistent performance over the past three years, with no recurring mechanical patterns or escalating risks. The two 2023 MOTs, recorded at 92,468 and 92,453 miles, indicate minimal mileage growth during that period, suggesting possible periods of reduced use or storage. However, the jump to 116,495 miles by 2026 implies increased usage in the intervening years, which could accelerate wear on components like brakes, suspension, and drivetrain parts. Mileage relative to age appears broadly normal, but the recent increase may signal harder use. While no defects were recorded, higher mileage generally correlates with greater risk of wear on consumables and mechanical systems. The lack of recorded issues is positive, but it does not eliminate the need for thorough inspection, as some faults may not surface in MOT tests. A buyer should prioritize checking the condition of tyres, brake pads, and suspension components, as these are common wear points.
