2017 Ford KA 1.2L Petrol · YS17 AVV

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a consistently stable and clean maintenance history. The most recent inspection conducted on 15 May 2026 at 18,729 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This trend of perfect passes across the last five annual tests indicates that the car has been maintained to a high standard without recurring mechanical failures or structural degradation. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a nine-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,081 miles per year. Data shows a significant plateau between May 2022 and April 2023, where the car covered only 477 miles, suggesting a period of storage or very limited use. Since then, the usage has increased steadily, rising from 6,278 miles in 2023 to 18,729 miles in the 2026 test. This low mileage generally implies less wear on the drivetrain, engine, and suspension components compared to high-mileage counterparts. While the MOT record is flawless, a buyer must physically inspect the vehicle for issues associated with long periods of standing. Low-mileage cars often suffer from flat-sp tyres, perished rubber suspension bushes, and seized brake calipers due to lack of movement. The buyer should check for corrosion on the brake discs and ensure the brake fluid has not absorbed moisture over time. Given the age of the vehicle, a close inspection of the chassis for early-stage surface rust is necessary, although the official record has not yet flagged any structural integrity concerns.
