2013 Honda FIT 1.5L Petrol · YS63 BWG

The 2013 Honda Fit remains roadworthy as of its most recent MOT on 2026-01-19, with no defects recorded at 95,962 miles. The maintenance trend is stable, showing consistent passing results across the last three tests without any advisories or failures. This indicates the vehicle has been kept to a standard that meets UK roadworthiness requirements, with no signs of escalating mechanical or structural issues in the recorded history. Mileage progression from 81,151 miles in March 2024 to 90,162 miles in February 2025 and finally 95,962 miles in January 2026 reflects a steady annual average of approximately 7,382 miles, which aligns with typical usage for a 13-year-old vehicle. There are no gaps or sudden spikes in mileage that would suggest irregular usage or long-term storage. The consistent, moderate rate of wear implies regular, if not heavy, use, but not excessive strain on components such as the drivetrain or suspension. While no defects were recorded in any of the three recent tests, the absence of flagged issues does not guarantee the absence of wear. Buyers should inspect suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of fatigue, particularly at the rear, as these components often degrade quietly over time. Brake discs and calipers should be checked for uneven wear or binding, especially since the rear brakes were flagged in a prior test not shown in this record. The exhaust system and underbody should be examined for corrosion, as rust can compromise structural integrity even if not yet visible during MOT. Tyre tread depth and condition should also be verified, as consistent passing does not preclude the need for replacement if wear is uneven or shallow. In summary, the vehicle’s MOT history presents a clean, stable record with no red flags. However, the age and mileage warrant a thorough pre-purchase inspection focused on wear-prone areas like suspension, brakes, and underbody corrosion. The owner appears to have maintained the car to a standard that satisfies legal requirements, but mechanical health beyond the MOT checklist should be confirmed before purchase.
