2021 BMW IX3 Premier Edition Electric · YT02 MAS

The BMW iX3 presents a stable roadworthiness profile with no active defects. The most recent DVSA test on 30 January 2026 at 60,672 miles returned a clean pass with no advisories, continuing an unbroken sequence of three consecutive passes. The maintenance trend shows no worsening faults and no recurring mechanical concerns across the available record. Mileage accumulation sits above typical expectations for a 2021 electric SUV. The car covered only 404 miles between the 7 November 2024 test at 44,526 miles and the 7 February 2025 test at 45,130 miles, then jumped 15,542 miles by January 2026. That late surge to 60,672 miles equates to roughly 12,134 miles per year overall, indicating the prior owner kept the vehicle largely stationary for its first three years before high-use commuting in the final twelve months. With no advisories logged for tyres, brake discs, suspension bushes, or structural corrosion, the MOT history alone gives no cause for rejection. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of the high-voltage battery cooling system and the rear suspension mounts, as these components accrue stress under the 15k-mile annual load seen after 2025. The clean record implies the previous keeper addressed consumables before each test rather than neglecting basic upkeep. Given the sparse three-entry history and zero flagged defects, the vehicle reads as genuinely well maintained on paper. Verify the 2026 pass aligns to actual odometer reading at point of sale, and confirm no private accident repair sits beneath the paint before completion.
