2012 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · YT12 BWP

The vehicle currently maintains a roadworthy status, following a clean pass on January 7, 2026, 91,824 miles. The maintenance trend appears stable, as the car has cleared its two most recent inspections without any recorded defects. While the history shows instances of failure, the most recent data indicates that previous issues have been addressed and the vehicle currently meets the minimum safety standards across all tested categories. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent for a 14-year-old, averaging approximately 6,500 miles per year. The data shows a significant drop in usage between September 2023 and September 2024, where the car covered only 448 miles in a full year, followed by 235 miles in the subsequent two months. This low annual mileage suggests the vehicle may have sat stationary for extended periods, which can sometimes lead to age-related degradation of rubber components, perished perish hoses, or fluid breakdown, despite the low mechanical wear on the engine and drivetrain. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on the areas that caused failures in 2023 and 2024, although the record provided does not list the specific mechanical reasons for those failures. Given the low mileage and age, it is vital to check for brake corrosion on the discs and seized calipers, as these are common issues on vehicles used infrequently. Additionally, inspect the structural integrity of the chassis and suspension mounting for rust to ensure that years of standing have not compromised the metalwork despite the low odometer reading.
