2022 Fiat Ducato 35 Maxi Multijet III 2.2L Diesel · YT71 BVY

The most recent MOT test conducted on 7 March 2025 at 88,781 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded, indicating a stable maintenance condition at this point in the vehicle's life. The absence of any advisories or failures suggests that, at the time of testing, all critical systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, and exhaust emissions met or exceeded required standards. With only a single MOT result available in the provided history, there is insufficient data to establish a clear trend over time, though the clean pass implies no immediate mechanical concerns were present. At approximately 22,195 miles per year over four years, this Fiat Ducato has accumulated significantly higher mileage than typical for its age, which may indicate frequent or heavy use. Such usage patterns can accelerate wear on components like brake discs and pads, suspension bushes, and tyre tread, particularly if driven long distances or loaded extensively. The recorded mileage of 88,781 miles on a 2022 model reflects substantial utilisation, potentially pointing to a commercial or high-mileage private owner. Given the limited MOT history provided, a full service and inspection history would be necessary to fully assess long-term care. Prospective buyers should conduct a thorough in-person inspection focusing on brake components, given the high annual mileage, and examine suspension elements for signs of wear or fatigue. Check for any evidence of corrosion, particularly around the wheel arches, sills, and undercarriage, as well as structural integrity of the van’s frame. The exhaust system and tyre condition should also be reviewed, as these are typically affected by high-distance usage. Since the latest MOT passed without issue, any current faults are likely developing after that date and should be verified through a pre-purchase inspection.
