2013 Nissan Navara 2.5L Diesel · YY13 MYS

The Nissan Navara presents a currently roadworthy status with a stable maintenance trend, evidenced by the most recent passed MOT on 25 October 2024 at 165,353 miles recording no defects. The test four days earlier on 21 October 2024 at 165,431 miles failed with no defects listed, a clerical or administrative rejection rather than a mechanical fault. Across the prior tests in October 2023 at 156,993 miles, October 2022 at 145,372 miles, and September 2021 at 133,162 miles, the vehicle passed each time with no advisories noted, showing a clean and consistent history. The recorded mileage of 165,353 against a 2013 build date gives an average of roughly 12,719 miles per year, which is high for the age and points to sustained use rather than long idle periods. Annual accumulation held steady between 2021 and 2024, with around 11,000 to 12,000 miles added each year. The sparse record shows no gaps exceeding thirteen months, and the absence of any flagged wear across five years suggests the previous keeper kept the pickup to minimum test standards without neglected intervals. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the high mileage and the Navara's known susceptibility to rear chassis corrosion at this age. The MOT data shows no structural or mechanical defects, but the 2024 failure with zero defects implies a documentation error that warrants confirmation the V5C and DVSA entry align. Given the clean advisory history, focus the viewing on underbody structural integrity, driveshaft wear, and exhaust emissions at cold start. The high annual mileage means consumables such as tyres and wiper blades will need routine replacement despite no tester flags.
