1993 Honda Fireblade 0.9L Petrol · K432 NGJ

The vehicle maintains a clean bill of health, with the most recent MOT on 01 April 2026 resulting in a pass with no recorded defects. This outcome confirms a stable mechanical status, as the previous test on 12 July 2023 also returned a clean record. The absence of advisories across these two inspections suggests that the machine is currently well-maintained and free of immediate regulatory concerns. The recorded mileage of 16,320 miles over a thirty-three-year lifespan averages to approximately 495 miles per annum. This exceptionally low usage pattern indicates long periods of inactivity, which often presents different challenges than high-mileage wear. While the engine internals may have seen limited stress, the extended storage periods typical of this mileage profile necessitate a close examination of rubber seals, fuel system integrity, and potential internal corrosion within the engine and fuel tank. Prospective buyers should prioritise a physical inspection of consumable components that degrade with age rather than just distance. Check the condition of the brake hoses and fork seals, as these items often perish during long-term storage. Inspect the structural integrity of the frame and swingarm for any signs of hidden corrosion, particularly in areas where moisture might have collected while the bike remained stationary. Ensure the carburettors are clean and the fuel lines show no signs of cracking, as these are the most likely points of failure for a machine with such limited annual use.
