2001 Porsche 911 3.4L Petrol · Y683 COE

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status, evidenced by a consistent history of passes over two decades. The most recent test on 6 October 2025 at 25,265 miles resulted in no defects recorded, continuing a long period of clean results that followed the minor issues noted in the early 2010s. The data suggests a vehicle that has remained well-preserved without significant mechanical degradation or structural failures. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 25-year-old Porsche, averaging approximately 1,000 miles per year. The record shows significant periods of inactivity; for instance, the car covered only 11 mile between July 2019 and July 2020, and just 40 miles between July 2020 and May 2022. While low mileage reduces wear on the drivetrain and braking system, such extended stationary increases the risk of rubber-based components, seals, and fluids degrading due to age rather than mechanical stress. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on items associated with long-term storage. The record notes an oil leak in July 2010 at 23,533 miles, which necessitates a thorough check of engine gaskets and seals to ensure no active weeping has returned. Given the low usage, the buyer must inspect the tyres for flat spotting or dry cracking, and examine the suspension bushes for per caused by lack of movement. The recurring minor windscreen damage noted in earlier years indicates a history of stone chips, but the current record shows the glass is now clear.
