2016 Ford Fiesta 1.0L Petrol · 4 DEK

The 2016 Ford Fiesta presents a clean roadworthiness status with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 2 May 2025 at 32,082 miles passed with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken four-year sequence of passes. No advisories or mechanical faults appear across the entire history, indicating the vehicle has not required corrective work at any official test. Annual mileage sits well below typical use for a ten-year-old car. The record shows 22,155 miles at the 5 May 2022 test, rising to 25,683 by 3 May 2023, 29,835 by 25 April 2024, and 32,082 by 2 May 2025. That equates to roughly 3,200 miles per year with no gaps or sudden accumulation. The DVSA data is sparse in detail but consistently clean, which suggests light, steady use rather than neglect or hard driving. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection despite the fault-free record. Low mileage combined with long standing periods can allow corrosion to develop on brake discs, suspension bushes, and underbody structure even when the tester recorded nothing. Check the exhaust system, subframes, and sills for structural rust that a May test may not have flagged as an advisory. Verify the service history matches the low annual use and confirm fluid intervals were kept. The absence of MOT defects does not confirm consumables such as tyres, wiper blades, or brake pads were replaced proactively. A physical check of tyre sidewalls and brake disc condition remains sensible before purchase.
