The vehicle remains roadworthy, though the maintenance trend shows a persistent failure to address deferred wear-related faults. The most recent test in September 2025 at 98,759 miles resulted in a pass despite flagging a pitted offside rear brake disc and poor rear tyres with uneven wear. While the car continues to pass, the recurring nature of tyre and brake issues suggests a reactive maintenance approach where components are only replaced once they approach legal failure. At 14 years old, the 98,759 recorded miles average approximately 7,054 miles per year, which aligns with typical usage for a premium executive saloon. The mileage accumulation is consistent, with roughly 2,000 miles covered between the October 2024 and September 2025 tests, and approximately 2,600 miles between October 2023 and 2024. This steady usage suggests regular operation, though the age of the rubber components likely contributes to the per and degradation seen in the records. A buyer must specifically inspect the front suspension geometry and alignment. Every MOT from 2021 to 2025 has noted uneven tyre wear, specifically the inner edges, indicating a persistent alignment issue or worn suspension bushes and control arms. The 2025 advisory regarding the pitted offside rear brake disc confirms that the braking system requires attention to prevent further corrosion or binding. Because the presence of undertrays mentioned since 2022 limits the tester's view of the underbody, a physical inspection of the chassis for hidden structural corrosion is essential to ensure integrity beyond what was visible visible.
