1983 Bedford CF 250 2.2L Petrol · A252 EPD

The Bedford CF 250 presents as roadworthy following its most recent MOT pass on 11 July 2023 at 82,089 miles, with the maintenance trend appearing stable across the supplied records. The prior failure on 3 July 2023 at 82,086 miles carries no recorded defects, indicating the test was likely rejected on administrative or unlogged grounds rather than mechanical fault, and the vehicle cleared eight days later with a clean sheet. No advisories or structural concerns appear across any entry. Recorded mileage sits at 82,089 against a 1983 build, averaging roughly 1,900 miles per year and pointing to light use or extended periods off the road. Between the 28 June 2022 pass at 81,514 miles and the July 2023 tests the van covered only 575 miles, confirming minimal recent activity. The clean history with no corrosion, brake, or suspension flags suggests previous keepers stored it reasonably, though sparse entries limit deeper wear inference. A buyer should still inspect structural integrity in person, given the age and risk of hidden chassis rust on a 43-year-old light commercial. Check suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs for perishing from standing, and confirm exhaust emissions match the low-mileage expectation. The absent advisories do not waive a physical check of tyres and wiper blades, which may have aged beyond service life despite showing no MOT fault.
