2016 Audi A4 2.0L Diesel · AB64 JAN

The 2016 Audi A4 presents a highly stable and exemplary maintenance trend, culminating in a completely clean pass at its most recent test on 9 June 2025 at 75,990 miles. Every recorded MOT since August 2021 has passed without a single defect or advisory, indicating meticulous upkeep and a lack of recurring mechanical issues. This unbroken record suggests the previous owner addressed wear items proactively rather than waiting for components to fail. The maintenance trajectory remains firmly stable, showing no signs of deterioration or neglect. Accumulating 75,990 miles over a decade equates to roughly 7,600 miles annually, a typical figure for a vehicle of this age. The mileage progression reveals a brief period of lower use between September 2022 and June 2023, where only 2,495 miles were covered in under nine months. Subsequent tests show a return to a steady accumulation of approximately 5,800 to 6,500 miles per year. The recorded mileage has not advanced since the June 2025 test, meaning the vehicle has either stood stationary or covered negligible distance over the past thirteen months. This also means the current MOT certificate expired on 8 June 2026, and a fresh test will be required before driving. While the DVSA records show zero structural or mechanical advisories, a physical inspection must account for the vehicle's recent stationary period. Tyres require close scrutiny for flat spots and sidewall cracking from prolonged sitting, while brake discs need checking for surface corrosion that develops when a car stands unused. Suspension bushes and coil springs demand attention to ensure no perishing or sagging has occurred during this downtime. A thorough assessment of the exhaust system and fluid levels remains prudent, as extended inactivity can accelerate moisture buildup in the oil and fuel system. The lack of historical faults provides strong reassurance regarding the structural integrity and mechanical health of this example, but a pre-purchase inspection must verify that the recent lack of use has not induced latent issues.
