2010 Aprilia RSV 1.0L Petrol · AE10 BBN

The 2010 Aprilia RSV presents a stable roadworthiness status with no recorded defects across its three most recent MOT tests. The latest examination on 10 May 2024 at 10,978 miles returned a clean pass, confirming the machine remains structurally and mechanically sound under official testing. This consistent outcome across successive years indicates the upkeep trend is steady rather than deteriorating. The recorded mileage shows extremely light use for a sixteen-year-old vehicle. The test on 25 March 2022 logged 10,412 miles, rising only to 10,968 miles by 23 March 2023 and 10,978 miles at the 2024 test. That equates to roughly 686 miles per year, with just ten miles added in the final twelve months. Such low accumulation points to long stationary periods, though the sparse and clean record gives no evidence of neglect or abrupt wear spikes. A buyer should still verify in person the condition of suspension bushes, brake calipers, and coil springs, as prolonged standing can allow corrosion or seizing unseen by a basic MOT. The absence of advisories means no tester flagged tyres, discs, or exhaust emissions, yet aged rubber and fluid degradation remain latent risks on a bike of this mileage profile. Given the fault-free history, the previous owner appears to have stored the RSV responsibly and addressed any consumable wear before each test. Physical inspection should focus on structural integrity around the frame and fork mounts, plus confirmation that brake binding has not developed during its idle spells.
