2018 Ford Kuga 2.0L Diesel · AF68 OVV

The 2018 Ford Kuga presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 11 October 2025 at 75,040 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean annual examinations since 2021. Annual mileage has averaged close to 9,380 miles, matching typical use for an eight-year-old vehicle. The records show steady accumulation: 30,534 miles in October 2021, rising to 42,892 by October 2022, 56,211 by October 2023, 69,411 by October 2024, and 75,040 by October 2025. No gaps or sudden jumps appear in the sequence. The DVSA data is sparse on faults, with every entry listing zero advisories across five consecutive passes. A buyer should still commission an independent physical inspection despite the clean sheet. The absence of recorded advisories means the tester raised no concerns on suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, or structural corrosion, but MOT snapshots miss intermittent faults and hidden rust. Given the Kuga's age, examine subframe integrity, rear suspension arms, and brake caliper operation closely. The previous owner clearly kept the vehicle to a disciplined annual test schedule with no deferred maintenance surfacing in the official record. Treat the clean history as a positive indicator of basic care, yet verify underside condition and tyre sidewall age before purchase.
