2008 Skoda Fabia 1.4L Diesel · AG08 SXC

The Skoda Fabia presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 29 March 2026 at 156,130 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken five-year sequence of clean MOT results. Annual mileage sits at a typical 8,674 per year for an 18-year-old vehicle. The records show steady accumulation: 136,049 miles in February 2022, rising to 139,702 by February 2023, 142,255 in February 2024, 148,312 by April 2025, and 156,130 at the March 2026 test. No gaps or sudden jumps appear in the data. The DVSA history is sparse on faults, with every entry listing a pass and no advisories raised across the five-year span. A clean record over this period implies the previous owner kept basic upkeep current, though the absence of advisories at high mileage is unusual for a 2008 chassis. The buyer should still inspect structural integrity in person, focusing on subframe corrosion, suspension bushes, and brake disc condition that a visual MOT may not capture at 156,130 miles. Given the age, examine the exhaust emissions system and check for perished rubber components or weeping seals. No recurring mechanical faults emerged in the official data, but a pre-purchase inspection remains prudent on a vehicle of this vintage.
