2009 Land Rover Discovery 3.0L Diesel · AG09 ODY

The Discovery presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 24 October 2025 at 124,532 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean results since at least July 2021. Mileage progression shows typical use for a 17-year-old vehicle. The record moved from 106,831 miles in the 11 July 2021 test to 118,084 miles by 11 August 2022, then to 124,532 miles by the 24 October 2025 test. Annual averages sit near 7,325 miles. A gap exists between the August 2022 and November 2023 tests with no intermediate mileage captured, but the clean outcomes suggest no lapse in statutory testing. No advisories or defects appear across the five recorded tests. The absence of flagged suspension bushes, brake discs, corrosion, or exhaust emissions issues implies previous owners kept the vehicle to a reasonable standard. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of structural integrity and chassis rust, as MOT passes do not certify absence of developing corrosion on a 2009 Land Rover. In-person checks should target drivetrain wear, coil springs, and binding calipers given the age and 124,532-mile accumulation. Verify service history to confirm consumables such as tyres and wiper blades were replaced outside the test regime.
