2012 Nissan NV200 1.5L Diesel · AJ12 VCN

The 2012 Nissan NV200 presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 5 January 2026 at 129,256 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded. This follows three consecutive clean passes from December 2022 through December 2024, indicating the vehicle has entered its fourteenth year free of flagged mechanical or structural concerns. Recorded mileage sits at a typical level for the age, averaging roughly 9,200 miles per year across the history. The gap between the 17 December 2022 failure at 108,231 miles and the 19 December 2022 pass at the same mileage shows a two-day rectification with no defects listed on either certificate, suggesting an administrative or minor pre-check issue rather than component failure. Annual accumulation has been steady, rising from 108,231 to 129,256 miles over the three years to January 2026 with no sudden jumps that would imply abnormal drivetrain stress. The clean advisory history across all four valid tests means no recurring suspension bushes, brake disc wear, exhaust corrosion, or structural integrity issues have been logged by testers. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of the coil springs, subframe mounting points, and brake calipers given the vehicle's age and commercial van usage, as MOT passes without advisories do not confirm absence of developing wear. Prior owners appear to have maintained the NV200 to a basic pass standard with no deferred consumable replacements flagged. The absence of any recorded faults across 21,000 miles of recent use implies reasonable upkeep, though the sparse commentary on the certificates limits insight into intermediate servicing of timing components or clutch wear.
