2011 Land Rover Freelander 2.2L Diesel · AP60 AOZ

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile based on a consistent history of clean passes. The most recent inspection conducted on 5 November 2024 at 129,466 miles resulted in no defects or advisories recorded. This streak of passes across the last five tests suggests that the previous owners have maintained the vehicle to a standard that avoids the common mechanical failures typically seen in Land of this age. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent with typical usage for a fifteen-old vehicle, averaging approximately 8,600 miles per year. Data shows a steady progression from 99,631 miles in January 2021 to 129,466 miles in late 2024. There was a notable gap of 13,236 miles between the October 2022 and October 2023 tests, indicating that the vehicle has seen regular, consistent use rather than long periods of standing, which helps to prevent brake seizure and the degradation of rubber components and seals. While the MOT record is clean, a buyer must perform a physical inspection focusing on common Freelander failure points that do not always trigger a fail. Check the front suspension arms and bushes for excessive play, and inspect the coil springs for signs of corrosion or cracking. Given the vehicle's age, examine the structural integrity of the underside around the sills and rear mounting points, as these areas often develop surface rust before it becomes an MOT-level concern.
