1986 Bedford CF 2.0L Petrol · B9 FLK

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a remarkably stable maintenance history. The most recent MOT test conducted on October 24, 2025 at 90,100 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This streak of clean results across the last five years indicates that the vehicle has been maintained to a high standard and that the mechanical and structural components are currently operating within the required parameters of the DVSA testing standards. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a forty-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,250 miles per year. Between October 2021 and October 2025, the vehicle covered only 2,124 miles, representing a consistent usage of roughly 530 miles per annum. This low mileage suggests the Bedford is likely used for seasonal or occasional purposes rather than heavy commercial work. While low mileage generally reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine components, it increases the risk of rubber component degradation and fluid stagnation due to long periods of inactivity. Given the clean MOT record, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on the structural integrity of the chassis and বলতে floor members. Older Bedford CF models are prone to hidden corrosion that a standard MOT may not catch if it is not visible on the surface. Inspect the wheel arches, suspension mounting points, and frame rails for structural rust. Because the vehicle sits for long, also verify the age and condition of rubber hoses, brake lines, and bushings, as these materials perish and crack over time regardless of the distance driven.
